Common questions
What can I hire you for?
Product design end to end: user research, interface design, design systems, and the front-end code to ship it. That has meant a two-sided rental marketplace, a merchant payments dashboard, an e-commerce redesign and a habit app. Client and freelance projects through Witty Wolf Design. Open to early-stage SaaS and marketplace roles, remote or Madrid.
Do you build as well as design?
Yes. I designed Urbiqo and then built it on Next.js myself, and the site you are reading is an Astro build I directed and shipped the same way. One person doing both means no handoff, no back-and-forth between a designer's file and a developer's interpretation of it. What you see designed is what ships, and it usually ships faster. Not every project needs it, but when it helps, the design does not stop at a handover file.
Where are you based, and which languages do you work in?
Madrid, Spain. My working languages are English and Dutch. German sits at a solid B1, useful in a working conversation but not yet independent. Spanish is A2 and climbing: enough for the neighbourhood, not yet for running a design review. The site is published in English, Dutch and Spanish.
How does working together start?
It depends on what already exists. For a new site or product, I start with research: understanding the people using it before touching a screen. If something's already live, I start by analysing what's there: what works, what doesn't, what can improve. If I'm joining a team with an existing design system or under a lead designer, my role is more modest, working within what's there, without losing a critical eye on the parts that don't hold up.
